Job Description:

A chiropractor is a healthcare professional who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, with a focus on the spine. They use manual adjustments, exercises, and other therapies to help patients alleviate pain and improve their overall well-being.


  • Assessing patients’ health and medical histories
  • Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests
  • Developing treatment plans for patients
  • Administering manual adjustments to the spine and other joints
  • Providing guidance on exercise and lifestyle changes
  • Educating patients on how to prevent injuries and maintain good health

Minimum Requirements:
  • A Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic college
  • A state license to practice chiropractic
  • Meet continuing education requirements to maintain licensure
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and neurology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual adjustments
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and other computer programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Salary Range:

The average salary for a chiropractor in the USA is around $75,000 – $100,000 per year.
